Feed needy Muslims in South Africa by providing Food baskets and Hot meals.
Join us in making a difference by helping us feed thousands of needy Muslims in South Africa.
With your generous donations, we can provide hot meals and food baskets for the entire month to over 1200 beneficiaries per day across our centers.
- For just $2, you can provide one nutritious meal to someone in need
- For $20, you can make 10 people happy by providing ten meals
This campaign is also ZAKAT ELIGIBLE. By donating to this campaign you will be fulfilling your Zakat obligations Insha Allah.
Through our network of 80 Masaajid and Islamic Centers, IDM has been servicing thousands of Muslims in South Africa for over 45 years. With your generous donations, we can provide hot meals for Iftar and food baskets for the entire month of Ramadan to over 1200 beneficiaries per day across our centers.
We're not just providing meals, but also distributing food hampers and Zakaat-ul-Fitr to those in need, especially in rural areas of South Africa where previously disadvantaged communities reside. Your support will directly benefit those who are in dire need, including many new Muslims who have recently embraced Islam.
Impact of Islamic Dawah Movement
- IDM conducts the Iftaar-Saaim Programme in various Southern African countries. Over 1,200 beneficiaries participate in Iftaar meals per day for the entire month.
- Over 120 borders stay over at some of our Islamic Centers throughout the month of Ramadan.
- Taraweeh salaah is performed at all IDM Centers. At some centers, students are used as part of their Hifz training and at some centers experienced huffaz are brought in.

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه و سلم قَالَ: "مَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ مُؤْمِنٍ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ الدُّنْيَا نَفَّسَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَمَنْ يَسَّرَ عَلَى مُعْسِرٍ، يَسَّرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، وَمَنْ سَتَرَ مُسْلِما سَتَرَهُ اللهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ، وَاَللَّهُ فِي عَوْنِ الْعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ فِي عَوْنِ أَخِيهِ"
"Whoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah will remove from him one of the griefs of the Day of Resurrection. And whoever alleviates the need of a needy person, Allah will alleviate his needs in this world and the Hereafter. Whoever shields [or hides the misdeeds of] a Muslim, Allah will shield him in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah will aid His slave so long as he aids his brother."

We pray from the depths of our hearts that Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) accepts all your Ibadaats (fasting, Salaat, Taraawi, tilaawatul Quran, duas, Zakat, Lillah, Fidya, Fitra etc) during this holy month of Ramadaan; that he grants you and your family the Ajr (reward) for these acts of worship; and that he forgives you all your past and future sins.
