         MASJID JAMIA AL IMAN IN NAGANO, JAPAN 

                                         CLEAN

Asalam Alaikum ! Imagine on the Day of Judgement on your scales you find a countless number of good deeds that you never even imagined or ever did yourself all because of your help funding this cause and a result of the answer to the follwing dua; 

"Ya Allah grant every person that donates to this cause to  have good deeds equivalent to every particle of dust that is ever cleaned from the masjid on their scales, and clean and purify their hearts and erase their sins every time the masjid is cleaned. " 

I am one of the servants of Allah that have the honor and blessing of being able to attend this masjid in Japan! Subhanallah Wal Hamdulillah ! 

More recently I had the honor of helping clean up when I came to notice that masjid is need of proper cleaning equipment mainly vacuums to clean the heavy carpets. ​The carpets are very thick and heavy which require proper commercial vacuums to get the job done however the current ones are older house vacuums and one older commercial vacuum that do not have enough power or suction. This causes the dust and small particles from the carpet to settle on the surface which is sticking to the clothes of the people that are praying. 

To remind myself and anyone reading this here are two beautiful hadiths to motivate us to help this cause:

"Report in al-Saheehayn from the hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah(RA), that a black man or a black woman used to take care of the mosque, then he or she died. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked after him (or her) and was told that he (or she) had died. He said: “Why did you not inform me? Show me his grave (or her grave).” Then he went to the grave and offered the funeral prayer over it.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 458; Muslim, 956. "

And it was narrated by Abu Dawood (455), al-Tirmidhi (594) and Ibn Maajah (759) that ‘Aa’ishah(RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded that mosques be built among houses and that they be cleaned and perfumed.” Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi, no. 487.  

As you can see cleaning the masjid is a virtuous task that our beloved Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) has not only commanded us to do but held in high regard ! 

Here is the simple ask :

Asking $2000 USD 

For:

1. Get a professional cleaning(washing, drying etc.) done 

2. Buy 2 new commercial vacuums ( 1 for the brothers area and 1 for the sisters) 

3. Buy perfumes and carpet deodorizer 

(Any left over money will be donated to the mosque to clean, upgrade or help with running costs)
